MNF: Bears Vs. Vikings/Browns Vs. Raiders

This last week of NFL football, (or lack thereof) has possibly been the weirdest week in a long time, if not ever! As the NFL heads into the backstretch of the season, every snap becomes vital, every play is huge and every game could be life or death for the playoffs. What does the NFL do? They come along and COVID protocol half the league!

Well, you get the picture, “half the league” - is tongue in cheek. We realize that half the league was not out, however, that may as well have been the case. Many of the games should not have been played. What we know is this. We take the games as they come down the pike to us, and we give you an honest opinion as to who will win that game. We want you to make some money tonight. Call the offshore bookmaker and ask for an NFL bonus. Be sure to ask them about rollovers and what your obligation is. A bonus is the best way to win quick money.

Raiders @ Browns

Raiders 6-7, 5-8-0 ATS, 3-3 Road

Browns 7-6, 5-8-0 ATS, 5-2 Home

5:00 PM ET NFL.NET

Line: Browns -3, ML -160/+140, O/U 41

The Browns have until 2:00 PM ET, today, to activate Mayfield, and any other player on the COVID reserve, list. Well, great, awesome news, right? Wrong! It’s potentially awesome news if you’re a Browns fan, what if you’re a Raiders fan? How do the Raiders prepare for this game? Look, this is the NFL, and no matter who the Browns throw out there, the opponent needs to be ready. It’s not fair, but oh yea, here we go, “life isn’t fair” and it’s not sometimes. The NFL MUST get its act together. They should not be asking the Raiders or any team to prepare for the unknown. Likewise, they should not be asking the Browns to play when they have no idea whether or not they are down a starting quarterback, down a head coach, down a backup quarterback, and/or down 22 other players on the COVID watch list.

This game has playoff implications. The Steelers won their game yesterday, and the Ravens lost, making the AFC North, wide open for whoever wants it the most. We know they all want it. There isn’t a player in the AFC North that wants to go home early.

Betting Advice: Over 41, Raiders 1st quarter, Raiders 1st Half, Raiders to score first, Browns -3 ---- IF Baker Mayfield plays, Browns 2nd Half.

Vikings @ Bears

Vikings 6-7, 7-6-0 ATS, 2-5 Road

Bears 4-9, 4-9-0 ATS, 2-4 Home

8:15 PM ET NFL.NET

Line: Vikings -6.5, ML -290/+235, O/U 44.5

The Bears are a terrible football team with no direction, no leadership, and honestly, not a lot of talent. The Broncos are all of those things, except for talent. When a team has talent, often, the talent will shine through despite the awful management. The Bears are scoring just 17.8 ppg and allowing 25.5 per game. The Vikings are scoring 26.5 per game. Cousins is having a Pro Bowl season for the Vikings with 3569 yards, 27 TDs, and just 5 INTs, Fields is disorientated, lost, and a mess. This game will go over, and be ugly.

Betting Advice: Vikings -6.5
