The early line on the Seattle Seahawks vs. Dallas Cowboys 2019 Wild Card game had the Cowboys as a -3 favorite at most books.

Pinnacle Sports opened at Dallas -2.5 but hadn't moved off that number Sunday evening.  Neither did BetOnline.

Bookmaker, on the other hand, opened at -3 and has shifted between that number and -2.5.

This is a rematch of the Week 3 meeting in Seattle, won by the Seahawks, 24-13.

This game will be played Saturday night at 8:15 pm EST on Fox.

Notes

Pete Carroll called it a slight ankle sprain for cornerback Shaquill Griffin and didn't sound too concerned about his availability for next weekend's wild-card game, saying: "He was dying to get back in. We just held him out because we knew that Akeem [King] could play and we didn't think we had to push it right there just to make sure we didn't overdo it with him." Carroll said right guard D.J. Fluker (hamstring) could have played today and that there was a conversation about inserting him at halftime before they decided to hold him out. His return next week will push Germain Ifedi back to right tackle. Carroll sounded confident on Friday that left guard J.R. Sweezy (foot) would be back for the playoffs, and while he said postgame that nothing has changed, he used less certain wording. Carroll said Sweezy will "give us everything he's got to get back" and that "if it can happen, it'll happen."

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?

Bet on Jared Verse Draft Position

Jared Verse had an over/under selection number of 15.5 with CBS Sports believing the Florida State EDGE will be chosen by the Seattle Seahawks at No. 16.
