This was the second time that a 12th seeded team beat a 5th seeded team on Thursday.

Teddy Allen had 37 points to knock UConn out of the tournament with a final score of 70-63.

In non-conference games this season the Razorbacks are 11-2 Straight Up.  Since 2016 they have maintained a win percentage of 80.6% in non-conference games and as favorites.

Arkansas, which made it into last season's Elite Eight, comes into this one with some experienced players: JD Notae (senior), Stanley Umude (senior) and Au’Diese Toney (senior).
