Tennessee should be a -5 point favorite against 11-seeded Michigan after the later knocked off No. 6 seed Colorado State in Round One.

The Wolverines rebounded from last week’s collapse against Indiana to erase a 15-point deficit to Colorado State and win 75-63.

Hunter Dickinson (21 points, six rebounds) headlined four players in double figures for U-M.

Michigan though is 2-6 against ranked opponents this season (the Vols are ranked 5th in the nation).

After a win, Michigan is 5-12 (29.4%) Straight Up this season.

As an away underdog, Michigan is 11-19 (36.7%) since 2016.

The betting public made out okay with Michigan, especially on the moneyline.

Tennessee (24-7 SU) rolled over Mississippi State Friday night 72-59.

Josiah-Jordan James led five players in double figures with 16 points, 14 of them during a second-half stretch in which the ninth-ranked Volunteers pulled away to a 72-59 victory over Mississippi State in the quarterfinals of the Southeastern Conference Tournament on Friday night.

“We're at our best when we have that balance,” Tennessee coach Rick Barnes said. “But also I think our guys have learned when a guy has it going, to get it to him.”

As Favorite Tennessee is 102-24 Straight Up (81.0%) since 2016.  They won seven straight coming into the tournament.

Tennessee should win this one on the moneyline at a somewhat decent price (probably somewhere in the neighborhood of -320).
