The Kansas City Chiefs enter Week 10 of the NFL ranked number 3. ESPN does have the Chiefs number 2 ahead of the Rams.

The victory was necessary for Kansas City to keep its 1.5-game AFC West lead over the Chargers, who came through in Seattle with their own triumph. Next, the Chiefs will face their conceptual opposites, taking on the 2-6 Cardinals -- who have executed twice as many punts this season as Kansas City -- at Arrowhead this weekend. After that comes the matchup everyone is circling on their NFL United Way pocket schedule: vs. the Rams, in Mexico City, on "Monday Night Football." Whew."
From ESPN.com: "Patrick Mahomes has been better than expected. The Chiefs were confident he would eventually play this well, but not right out of the chute. Through nine games, Mahomes has 29 touchdown passes, one away from the team record."
As would be expected, the Chiefs have little value in terms of AFC West futures betting due to the high price tag and even with a good Chargers team playing in the division.
