Jim Harbaugh Says 'No' to Legalized Sports Betting

Speaking at the Big Ten Media Day,  Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh when asked about gambling and sports said: “"Don't gamble, don’t associate with gamblers. Don't walk away from that, run."

This was his advise to players.

It was all Q&A as Harbaugh offered no opening statement.

Harbaugh's opening statement: "Hello, good afternoon. Great to be here. I'm open to questions."

His discussion related to gambling comes just two months after the US Supreme Court ruled to get rid of prohibition of sports wagering

States would need to amend their own laws.  New Jersey is among the first states to offer the activity while prohibiting bets on its college football teams such as Rutgers and Seton Hall.  Nonetheless, folks from neighboring Pennsylvania can easily cross the border to place wagers on their own state teams like Villanova and Penn State.
