Gambling911.com has your NBA Betting Trends (in order from best on top) for Thursday, December 31, 2020. Green Teams are those with the edge.  Red teams are those with a notable disadvantage.

  1. The home team is 9-1 in the Philadelphia-Orlando series with a line of 76ers -3 and the Magic starting the season at a surprising 4-0
  2. Utah has won eight of last nine versus Phoenix, losing in the last meeting, however, Phoenix is 9-1 Against The Spread in their last 10 games following a straight up win and the Jazz are 3-10-1 ATS in their last 14 home games
  3. Orlando is 3-13-1 Against The Spread in their last 17 games as a home underdog
  4. Philadelphia is 5-15-1 ATS in their last 21 games as a road favorite
  5. Orlando is 12-2 ATS in their last 14 games following a straight up win
  6. Philadelphia is 1-6 Against The Spread in their last 7 games following a ATS win
  7. Houston has won seven of the last nine versus Sacramento and is priced at -220 on the moneyline

Results

Orlando is now an abysmal 3-14-1 Against The Spread in their last 17 games as a home underdog, and this is the trend we should have focused on more than the home team being 9-1 in the Philadelphia-Orlando series.  Not sure what happened here but the 76ers destroyed Orlando New Year's Eve.  The Magic was our pick to have us now at 2-1 so far with NBA free picks.

Our only other hot trend outside of those pertaining to the 76ers-Magic, Houston winning seven of the last nine versus Sacramento.  With the Kings a +5 dog in this one, they did cover.  But the Rockets did win, so this was a nice moneyline bet.
