Trainer Chad Brown says that third place finish in the Fountain of Youth Stakes is now a distant memory.
“The plan was not to have him peaking then, uh, I thought at the time, we had the horse prepared enough to potentially win, while not running his best race of the year. It turns out it didn't happen that way. the horse was a little short of fitness-wise but he got a lot out of it. He moved forward in the Bluegrass and showed that he's back,” Brown said.
He has since won the Blue Grass Stakes and, previous to that, the Breeders Cup Juvenile.
