Free Picks, Predictions on the Oklahoma State Cowboys vs. Florida Gators College Basketball Game - January 29

The Oklahoma State Cowboys take on the Florida Gators Saturday in a game that should feature a line of Florida -4 and indeed does.  Read on, however, as there are certain components that need to be considered prior to betting this game.

As an away underdog, the Cowboys have managed to go 10-21 Straight Up since 2018 for a 32.3% win percentage.  They are just barely clinging to a .500 record at 10-9 Straight Up and have proven quite unprofitable for sports bettors at 7-12 Against The Spread.

Oklahoma State has only won four of their last ten games, failing to cover in the last four.

Florida is 57-22 Straight Up since 2018 as a favorite for a 72.2% win percentage.  But they have only won half of their last ten games overall.

The Gators have an edge in all but rebounding and they do not have as strong a bench as Oklahoma State.

These teams haven't faced one another since 2015.

Florida's struggling in part due to the absence of 6-foot-11 forward Colin Castleton, the team's leading scorer, rebounder and shot blocker who was averaging 15.4 points, 9.1 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game when he was sidelined with a shoulder injury.  He was unlikely to play on Saturday.  His absence is not factored into this line and therefore we are seeing a very slight overlay even at -3.

Despite their less than impressive record, the Cowboys are yet to lose more than two straight games this season.  A small play on Oklahoma State here at +3.5.
