Free Picks, Predictions for the Butler vs. Purdue Game December 18

Purdue is a huge -15.5 favorite against Butler on Saturday.  We have this one at Boilermakers -14.

The small Purdue overlay and Butler being due another cover with their 2-6 record Against The Spread while 7-3 Straight Up has us liking the Bulldogs pretty quickly here at +14.

As Away Favorite, Purdue is just 5-9 Against The Spread.  They are also 3-8-2 ATS in their last 13 games following a ATS loss.

While Butler did have a stretch of three losses, they have won their last four.

Butler has played a ranked team only once this season and lost. Purdue needed overtime to beat North Carolina State by 10 points on Sunday.

The Purdue offense has scored 87.4 points per game, the third-highest figure in Division I. Butler has only averaged 64.9 points per game, which ranks 242nd nationally.

Outcome: So Butler simply did not show up to this one.  OUCH!  This is a game to remember should the Bulldogs make it into the Tournament.
