Tommy D looks at the Oregon State-Oregon rivalry game with the line set at Ducks -7.
This in-state rivalry game is called The Civil War and it’s a series that has been dominated by Oregon. Despite losing last year’s game, the Ducks have won 11 of the last 13 meetings and haven't lost to the Beavers at home since 2007.
But this year’s game has a little bit of a different twist. Even though this is a fierce rivalry and the Ducks could punch a ticket to the Pac 12 Championship Game with a win, we think they could be in letdown mode. The reason is because Oregon has had much higher hopes than winning the conference championship all season, but a blowout loss to Utah last week ended any dreams of them making the College Football Playoffs, so you have to think the team is a bit dejected heading into this game against Little Brother.
