Game Watch

1. Twins @ Rays

Griffin Jax (3-3, 6.71) vs. Luis Patino (4-3, 4.24)

Jax allowed six runs on six hits and three walks with five strikeouts over five innings in a loss against the Brewers on Sunday.

Patino pitched 5 2/3 innings of one-run ball as the Rays topped the Red Sox 6-1 on Monday.  He had a victory previous to that game as well.

The total is 9.

2. White Sox @ Royals

Dylan Cease (11-6, 3.82) vs. Brady Singer (3-9, 4.87)

Cease allowed one run on four hits and two walks with 11 strikeouts over six innings in a 13-1 win over the Cubs on Sunday.  Prior to that he tossed seven innings of four-hit, one-run ball in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Blue Jays.

Royals batters have only had two home runs against Cease in 117 at bats.  He is .223 against them.

Brady Singer logged a quality start in a no-decision against the Mariners on Sunday, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits over his six frames.  He has pitched well but has not had a win in quite some time.

The total here is trending down from 9 to 8.5 and we will be on the UNDER 9 here.

3. Mariners @ Diamondbacks

Chris Flexen (11-5, 3.52) vs. Tyler Gilbert (1-2, 2.93)

Flexen allowed two runs over 5 2/3 innings in a no-decision against the Astros.  He had a win his last start but dealt with a series of no-decisions prior to that one.

Recap

Yesterday wasn't even close as we had the UNDER in the White Sox-Royals game and this one pretty much went OVER by the 3rd inning.
