This game will be played on Sunday at 7:30 pm ET.

FSU is favored to win OVER 5.5 at a price of -130.  Notre Dame is favored to win OVER 8.5 regular season games at -135.

The Fighting Irish were coming in as a -7.5 favorite on the road. That line had dropped to -7.

Notre Dame is ranked No. 9 in the nation with 40-1 odds of winning the College Football Championship.  They enter this season with a new quarterback, Jack Coan.

"He's been really good. He's the same guy every day," Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly said of Coan. "He's so consistent in terms of who he is and his makeup, his preparation. I think he's even improved since the spring in a number of the more detailed areas that we asked him to.

"He's certainly been in some big games. He's going to go out there and he's been in this environment before. That doesn't mean he's not going to have some jitters, but he's going to know how to get in that zone."

There is reason to be concerned about the Irish coming into this season as they return only two starters from last year.  Ouch!
