We are just days away from the MLB All Star Break and there are still some great games to be had.  Below are some potentially top baseball bets for Saturday July 10, 2021.

Houston Astros

Gerrit Cole NYY (8-4, 2.91) will be starting in this one.  But that might not be good enough to overcome the Astros.  He'll be hungry for an elusive win, something he hasn't tasted since June 22.

Yordan Alvarez has had success against Cole, going 2 for 3, both home runs. Carlos Correa is 2 for 5 against him with one RBI.

Zack Greinke HOU (8-2, 3.64) matched a season-high with eight strikeouts over 7 2/3 innings on Sunday in a no-decision against the Indians.  He also did not factor into the decision in his previous start.

Yankees batters are only .202 versus Greinke, hitting 34 of 130.

Gambling911.com believes both starters can go into the 6th inning. The Astros have given up very few runs in the last four innings over the past several games.

This One Should Stay UNDER 8.5  although we want to be careful here.  There are definitely some strong OVER trends favoring New York of late.  9 of the Yankees last 13 road games have gone OVER.  The UNDER 8.5 WILL be our play here. (W)

Recap

That didn't last long, as far as Greinke went. He was pulled before the 5th inning despite giving up just one run.  On the other hand, boy were we right in regard to Cole: Nine shutout innings against the Astros.  Cole threw more more pitches than any other pitcher so far this season in fact.
