Week 1 was bad, Week 2 was one of the worst we've encountered in quite some time.

For its part, Draftkings stood to pay out around $10 million to sports bettors should New Orleans have covered the -4 point spread against the Las Vegas Raiders.  Instead, Las Vegas managed an upset victory and thus saved the day for the behemoth book.

That book already lost with the Seahawks, 49ers and Packers.  In fact, the Seahawks spread, moneyline and Over each paid out huge sums to gamblers on Sunday night.

DraftKings also took six-figure losses on both the Bills moneyline and the Jaguars.

“We were saved by one team — the Vikings,” said DraftKings Head of Sportsbook Johnny Avello. “Had they shown up and won — we had a ton of moneyline parlays on them – our losses probably would have been double.”
