Brunson, a two-time World Series of Poker Main Event champ, has had four bouts with cancer during his long life.

He also disclosed to his many followers that Covid-19 has been straining the hospital system.

"During check up with my doctor, he said our hospitals are so full people with elective surgeries are asked to postpone them."

Devoutly religious, Brunson believes strongly in miracles.

When one of his followers suggested Brunson should be thankful to science and medical professionals, Brunson agreed to some extent but added:

"Obviously that was a key ingredient. I've seen too many miracles to dismiss God. Thanks however."
