The most winningest poker player Daniel Negreanu has announced his engagement to Friday Night Poker host Amanda Leatherman.

The announcement was made via Twitter New Year's Eve accompanied with a photo of an engagement ring.

Leatherman did say "Yes".

Negreanu is a six-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner and has amassed a fortune of over $39.5m (£31.4m) playing live poker since the 1990’s.

This would be Negreanu's second marriage.  He had briefly been married in 2007 to Lori Lin Weber, who has mostly stayed out of the limelight.

By contrast, Ms. Leatherman is a well-known media personality in the world of poker.

Negreanu and Leatherman had been a couple in the past before breaking up a few years ago.
