Emilie Lundegård Pedersen (19) from Bodø became Norwegian customer number 50,000 at Coolbet, the company that has been voted the country's best for two years in a row.   The prize is around US$1000.

"A very unexpected and fun message to receive a Monday morning," she said. "The prize is very nice. I'm looking forward to taking a trip, says a happy 19-year-old."

The girl from Bodø is currently working in a shoe store while she has a year off from school. The plan is to study again this fall, assuming the dreaded COVID-19 becomes a distant memory.

"I created my user account with you after my mom told me that you were approaching 50,000. I thought it would be fun to become a customer number 50,000, says the 19-year-old."

Her timing was perfect and her mom's good tips will also pay well.

"I would like to take my mom on a trip to Barcelona and go to a football match at Camp Nou. It had been a lot of fun, says Emilie Lundegård Pedersen."

Camp Nou is actually the last customer trip bookmakers in Tallinn arranged for customers before travel restrictions were introduced.

"We hope Emilie gets as much fun in Barcelona as our customers did when they saw Barcelona defeat Martin Ødegaard's Real Sociedad", says spokesman Mikael Mellqvist.

Emily's mom is an active poker player. Maybe she'll be accompanied by her daughter around the poker table soon.

"I prefer the casino, but I'm interested in learning how to play poker as well," says Emilie.
