Browns general manager John Dorsey says he is interested in interviewing women for the head coaching job and one high on their list, none other than former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

This is a story that piqued the interest of oddsmakers Sunday morning, including those at BetDSI, an online gambling firm that has focused heavily on head coaching odds in various sports (more along the line of firings).  Most recently, the site offered odds on whether Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett will still be around at the start of next season.

Condi, as she is affectionately known, would be getting long odds, especially after confirming Sunday afternoon she's not ready to coach at this time.

Rice, a long time Browns fan, was once considered for the NFL Commissioner job now held by Roger Goodell.

She has previously served as one of the inaugural members of the College Football Playoff selection committee from 2013 to 2016.

Rice also recently chaired a commision on college basketball that recommended major changes to the sport this year, including an end to the one-and-done rule.

Condi is not just a fan, she has actively played in various sports.  Her father was a high school football coach.

"I learned so much about perseverance, about hard work, about having a not great performance and having to get up the next day and go in and try again," Rice said last year. "And that's something that you have to have in life."

She took up ice skating in her early teens and went on to be a competitive skater.  Rice also plays golf, where she would go on to become one of the first two women to be admitted to the Augusta National Golf Club, one of the most exclusive golf clubs in the world.

Rice is currently a professor at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
