Unbeaten Cincinnati Joins Georgia, Ohio State and Alabama in CFP's Top Four

The Cincinnati Bearcats, undefeated so far this season, will currently pay out $2000 on a $100 bet to win the College Football Playoff.

Their representation is the first time in the CFP's history that a team from a Group of 5 conference has cracked the top four in the selection committee's rankings.

Cincinnati, one of just three undefeated teams left in the FBS, is ranked No. 4 in the latest rankings that were released on Tuesday night, behind No. 1 Georgia, No. 2 Ohio State and No. 3 Alabama.

The Bearcats jumped one spot after Oregon, which was No. 3 in last week's rankings, but suffered an embarassing 38-7 loss at Utah on Saturday.

While Cincinnati promises a payout of $2000, the other three teams would pay out $400 or less on a $100 wager.

The Crimson Tide would pay $400, Ohio State $300 and UGA comes in as the -125 favorite.

Michigan is No. 5, followed by Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Baylor, Ole Miss and Oklahoma. The selection committee's final rankings will be released on Dec. 5.
