Can I Place a Bet on the FanDuel App From Idaho?

While you will be unable to bet on the FanDuels app from the great state of Idaho, BetOnline is accessible with its generous welcome bonus (max bonus $1000) and hundreds of team and player props.

The US Supreme Court in 2018 opened the floodgates to allow sports betting in all 50 states.

Each state must amend its own laws to begin regulating and licensing.  Idaho is yet to do so.  Because FanDuel adheres to operating only in states that feature a regulatory framework, that company has opted to stay out of Idaho for the time being.

So while you may see plenty of FanDuel advertisements throughout March Madness, during NBA games and the college football/NFL season, the options available are playing with sites based outside the state (BetOnline has been in business since 1999 and welcomes those in Oklahoma to place bets) or rely on a local bookie. Both options allow for anonymity and therefore eliminate most privacy concerns, not to mention neither will report your winnings.

As of May 2023, Idaho has yet to consider regulating sports betting in the state.
