Can I Bet on College Football Games From Ohio With My Mobile Device?

The only mobile sites you'll be able to use during the 2022 college football season from Ohio will be the popular offshores like BetOnline (established 1999 and offering a signup bonus up to $1000).  After this season you will be able to bet with in-state based sites, keeping in mind that they will report your winnings to the state and federal government.

Your Buckeyes

There are once again high hopes for a team that enters 2022 with the second shortest odds to win the 2023 College Football Playoff Championship.

Here is what bettors have to look forward to in 2022:

The Ohio State Buckeyes Odds to Win the College Football Playoff Championship

Most books feature a payout of between $300 and $375 on a $100 bet

How Many Wins This Season?

The books have Ohio State winning OVER 10.5 regular season games in 2022.  They have an early test against a Notre Dame team that has the 8th shortest odds to win the 2023 College Football Playoffs Championship. Games against Wisconsin, Michigan, MSU and Penn State will not be walks in the park.  The Hawkeyes have relatively long odds to win the Championship this season, thus providing some reprieve.

CFN warns of this particular stretch towards the end of the season:

Michigan State is on the road, and there’s a run of three road games in four weeks including Penn State and – be very, very careful of this – Maryland in the game before the regular season finale against Michigan.

Number One Ranked Receiver

Jaxon Smith-Njigba is number one according to PFF’s Anthony Treash.  He has generated a 153.9 passer rating when targeted on 20+ yard throws.

QB CJ Stroud is the Favorite to win the Heisman Trophy

Stroud may have finished third in last year's vote but he enters 2022 as the favorite. Stroud threw for 573 years and had an 80% completion rate in the Rose Bowl without his usual weapons: Christian Olave and Garrett Wilson.
