Sports betting is going to be all the rage in the Tar Heel State now that lawmakers have granted the Eastern Band of Cherokee casinos in Cherokee and Murphy permission to offer sports betting.  Just not mobile.

This means you will have to either travel to the casino or simply place bets from your living room with any of the dozens of top offshore sportsbooks.  Bookmaker.eu is among the oldest, having started as a call center sports wagering operation in 1985.

North Carolina is one of the most prolific sports fan states, and this carries onto betting.  The Panthers in the NFL and North Carolina college football gets some respect (probably not in 2019 though with the Tar Heels only expected to 4.5 regular season games).

It's North Carolina Basketball that gets all the love though, whether it's USC, Duke, even North Carolina State.
