A search warrant of Mar-A-Lago released Friday afternoon shows former U.S. President Donald Trump appears to be under investigation for potential obstruction of justice, Espionage Act violations.

A search of Trump's residence in Palm Beach, Florida was conducted by the FBI on Monday.  Trump called it "a raid".  Attorney General Merrick Garland came forward Thursday to reveal the Justice Department had asked a court to unseal the warrant, which they did at 3 pm ET Friday.

The Espionage Act violations has resulted in folks across the Net, gamblers in particular, seeking out non extradition countries where Trump could move to in an effort to avoid potential criminal prosecution.  The Justice Department has not indicated whether the former President is directly under any type of criminal probe.  Penalties for Espionage included death, but it is typically up to ten years in prison for each violation.

BetOnline had posted odds on non extradition countries Trump could flee to in the past (not currently available).   Originally BetOnline had Russia as the -200 favorite.  This was prior to the Russian-Ukrainian war however.

United Arab Emirates +250 and Qatar +300 had the next shortest odds.  It was not immediately clear as to whether BetOnline would offer updated extradition nation odds at this time.

The warrant shows federal law enforcement was investigating Trump for removal or destruction of records, obstruction of an investigation, and violating the Espionage Act. Conviction under the statutes can result in imprisonment or fines.

BetOnline does currently feature odds on a Donald Trump indictment with the YES still paying out $15.50 for every $10 bet.
