The Sooners So Far in 2018

From the Bleacher Report: "No. 7 Oklahoma needs to make a statement against a quality opponent two weeks after struggling to beat Army at home in overtime.  The Sooners cruised to a 66-33 win over Baylor in Week 5, but they still dropped a spot in the rankings because of Notre Dame's win over Stanford.  No. 19 Texas presents the first true test for the Sooners, which racked up 217 points in their first five games."

The Longhorns vs. Sooners Trends and Prediction

Oklahoma has dominated the series, winning six of the last eight.  With that said, Oklahoma has not beaten the Longhorns by more than the current 7-point spread over the last five meetings while winning outright in two of those.

On the road, Texas has lost by five points in Oklahoma in their last two games there.  This is technically not even a road game for the Longhorns, who will be playing this one in Dallas.  The distance between where both teams play at home to Dallas is about the same.

Against conference opponents, the Longhorns UNDER is 4-16.  Nine of their last thirty games overall have gone UNDER the total.

Texas appears to be the better play here based on past historical stats.
