The Texans So Far in 2018

The Texans will enter Week 2 knowing they have one of the better defensive fronts in the league and the top rushing game.  The Giants should get them back on track.  If not, the season may be over for Houston.

The Texans 2018-2019 Odds

At 5-1 odds to win the AFC South there is some good value.  A win over New York will get them right in the thick of things once again.

The Giants-Texans Trends and Predictions

As a road underdog of 3.5 to 7 points over the past three seasons, the Giants have gone 1-6 Against The Spread.

The Texans, meanwhile, are just 0-7 ATS in their last 7 games overall.

The NFL Betting Power Ratings suggest a line of Houston -4.

Houston has one of the more talented defensive fronts that should be able to expose a thin Giants secondary.  We can't see New York making much headway here.

The Texans also have the league's top rushing games.  The Giants currently rank 29th in run defense.

On paper at least, this looks like a lopsided victory for the Texans -6.
