Soroka has given up just four earned runs over 36 2/3 innings this season, and in his 11 career starts is 6-2 with a 2.02 ERA and 1.19 WHIP. The 21-year-old held St. Louis to three hits with three walks and three strikeouts across seven shutout innings Wednesday, and on the season has thrown 64 percent of his pitches for strikes. Giants

Suarez failed to make the Giants out of spring training one season after starting 29 games in the majors, then missed time at Triple-A Sacramento with a hamstring injury. The 26-year-old has allowed seven earned runs on 14 hits over 8 2/3 innings in two starts since returning from the injured list, giving up five runs on nine hits in 5 1/3 innings Monday. Suarez went 1-1 with a 2.38 ERA in two starts against Atlanta in 2018.

The Giants bullpen is among the best in Major League Baseball.

What to Watch for This Series (Monday May 20)

The Braves are just 1-6 in their last 7 road games vs. a left-handed starter.  They will face a leftie Monday night and Thursday (Bumgarner)

The UNDER is 5-1 in Soroka's last 6 starts overall.

The total was moving from 7.5 to 8.
