About the New Mexico Bowl

The New Mexico Bowl is an NCAA-sanctioned post-season college football bowl game that has been played annually since 2006 at Dreamstyle Stadium on the campus of the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It has typically been scheduled as one of the first games of the bowl season.  The payout is US$912,500.  Conference tie-ins are MWC, C-USA.

Action and Line Movement

With more than 75% of the spread action coming North Texas' way as a +11 dog, it's not surprising that this line has dropped to 7.5 in an effort to get more action on the Aggies.  On the 7.5 number, the action continued to pour in on the Mean Green.  As of Thursday late night, no book had dropped to the dreaded -7.

Hot Betting Trends

The Aggies are 10-2 on the season and 9-3 Against The Spread.  North Texas, despite having a respectable 9-3 record Straight Up, is just 4-8 ATS. Mean Green are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
