The Pats odds of winning the Super Bowl shifted from 8/1 to 6/1 with the news that troubled player Antonio Brown had joined the team.  Already his troubles continue to mount with allegations of a rape.

The Patriots receiver is accused of three incidents of sexual assault, in 2017 and 2018, against his former trainer.

Britney Taylor, 28, met Brown when he became her Bible study partner at Central Michigan University, according to a lawsuit filed on Tuesday.

BetOnline had been offering odds on how long Brown will remain with the team.  He did take part in his first practice with the Patriots on Wednesday afternoon.

Coach Bill Belichick declined to comment on additional questions about Brown before the practice, including his status for Sunday's game at Miami. During his brief news conference, Belichick repeatedly said, "We're working on Miami."

Asked about Brown after practice, Patriots players mostly declined to speak about the situation.

"No," Tom Brady answered when asked if he had any comment.

The Patriots opened as a -15 favorite versus the Dolphins in Miami for Week 2 and that line quickly moved to -18.5

New England was seeing 85% of the action on the spread despite the huge road spread.
