Panthers Season Preview
The Panthers are -130 favorits to win at least 8 regular season games. Outside of the two Bucs games, one in Week 18 that might not even matter, all of these matches are winable. With the exception of the Buccaneers - again, both meetings will be among the final three of the season - Carolina will not face any of the other eight teams with the shortest odds to win Super Bowl 56.
The Carolina Panthers do not appear to be much of a threat coming into the 2021 season.
They are attempting to improve on their 5–11 record from last year while hoping to make the Playoffs for the first time since 2017.
This team is not without its weapons as they look to capitlize off of a healthy Christian McCaffrey. Sam Darnold will once again have a chance to prove himself as the new Panthers quarterback, replacing Teddy Bridgewater.
Brian Burns and Jeremy Chinn are expected to prop up the Panthers defense.
