You can bet College Football games online and via your mobile device from West Virginia with any number of internationally-based websites.

You should soon be able to bet with West Virginia-based sportsbooks by the time College Bowl season comes around as the state is currently testing its geo-targeting.  Betting with these books will only be available within the state's borders and a 10% tax will be imposed on winnings.  International sites do not place such a tax on winnings.

West Virginia was among a handful of states that legalized sports betting immediately after the U.S. Supreme Court shot down decades long prohibition.  New Jersey and Mississippi have also taken full advantage.  Delaware has done so as well, but on a more limited scale.

West Virginia is expected to have a sportsbook set up in each of its five casinos, a few of which cater to significant markets outside the state such as Baltimore/Washington, Pittsburgh and Eastern Ohio.

Unlike in New Jersey, a state that prohibits betting on its college teams, those placing bets at West Virginia sportsbooks can wager on their beloved Mountaineers.

Those betting with West Virginia-based books will need to be 21 or over.  International sites welcome those 18 and up.
