Now that the National Football League is done until this fall, sports betting has shifted to the sport of basketball. The NBA remains a popular sports betting option in the US, but March belongs to college basketball.

It’s the final week of the regular season for college basketball. There are still plenty of big games on the schedule. Here is a look at four of the best bets from around college basketball this weekend.

It is never too early to get ready for the 2021 Masters!

Illinois Fighting Illini at Ohio State Buckeyes

The fourth NCAA Tournament No. 1 seed could be at stake Saturday when the Ohio State Buckeyes host the Illinois Fighting Illini. Ohio State won the first meeting of the season in Champaign. But Illinois has been red-hot of late.

Illinois just stunned Michigan without its best player, and the Fighting Illini can really score. Ohio State is a very deep team, but it will need to shoot it well to pick up this win.

There simply isn’t much separation between these two teams, and that should lead a terrific game on Saturday. Illinois will get revenge and upend Ohio State in the season finale.

Oklahoma State Cowboys at West Virginia Mountaineers

Big 12 tournament seeding will be determined Saturday when the West Virginia Mountaineers host the Oklahoma State Cowboys. West Virginia won the first meeting of the season, 87-84, and the rematch should be a battle.

Freshman Cade Cunningham powers the Cowboys on offense, and Oklahoma State has been on a recent tear. West Virginia took Baylor to overtime on Tuesday night, and it is starting to peak at the right time.

Look for another one-possession game in this one. But this time, it will be the Cowboys that head into Morgantown and pull off the slight upset.

Michigan Wolverines at Michigan State Spartans

There is no love lost between the Michigan Wolverines and the Michigan State Spartans, and their games are must-see TV. These two teams will meet up on Thursday night before ending the season in East Lansing on Sunday.

Michigan has looked unbeatable for much of the season, but it just suffered a 23-point loss to Illinois. Michigan State might need to win this game to clinch a spot in the NCAA Tournament. That will provide the Spartans with plenty of motivation.

The Wolverines are the better team, but Michigan State shocks its rival on Sunday.

Wisconsin Badgers at Iowa Hawkeyes

Both Wisconsin and Iowa were expected to challenge for the Big Ten regular-season crown this season. But each team scuffled a bit during the season.

Iowa earned a win over Wisconsin in their first meeting this season. Now the teams square off in Iowa City.

Iowa is one of the best offensive teams in the country, as they can really shoot the basketball. Wisconsin will be looking to slow this game down. They want to pull off the upset by playing great on the defensive end of the floor.

The Badgers just don’t score enough points to keep this game close. Iowa will have a big offensive night at home. Take the Iowa Hawkeyes over Wisconsin in the Big Ten Conference showdown.
