  • Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders currently both pay EVEN odds to win the Democratic nomination

  • Though Sanders is a runaway favorite to win in California, Texas is looking more competitive

  • Each candidate is a heavy favorite in five of the Super Tuesday states with only a handful of those remaining competitive

  • Minnesota Senator and former Presidential candidate is listed at 6/1 odds to be on VP ticket

It's an absolute nail biter ahead of the Super Tuesday vote with both former US Vice President Joe Biden and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders listed at EVEN odds to win the Democratic nomination for US President.  The payout would be $100 on a $100 bet for either candidate.

Biden and Sanders are expected to split the Super Tuesday states for the most part though the Vermont Senator is a big favorite to win the delegate rich state of California.  Sanders is favored in Texas but only by -200.  Biden would pay out $125 for every $100 bet or $12.50 for every $10 bet in the Lonestar State.

Outside of California and Texas, Sanders is heavily favored in Colorado, Maine, Utah and Vermont.  He is a -400 favorite to win Massachusetts, however, his price is reduced as a result of that state's Senator Elizabeth Warren remaining in the race.  She and Biden would each pay out $25 for every $10 bet as part of the "Field" option.

Biden is heavily favored in Alabama, Arkansas, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.  He is a slight favorite to win in Oklahoma at -250.  Those odds have actually improved somewhat since his statement win in the South Carolina Primary on Saturday.

BetOnline did not have odds on Minnesota as of Tuesday afternoon.

Biden Suddenly Leading in Polls: Latest Odds

After months of former US President and likely GOP nominee Donald Trump leading in the general election polls, current US President Joe Biden has suddenly moved ahead in a new poll commissioned by Florida Atlantic University (FAU).

Biden Odds Improve After State of the Union

Following the SOTU, in which Biden did a great deal to dispel doubts about his cognitive health during a passionate, 68-minute speech, his re-election odds slightly improved in the betting markets.
