Anderson Silva vs. Jake Paul Betting Odds: Shift in Favor of The Spider

Initially coming in as the -180 favorite, Jake Paul is now the underdog versus Anderson Silva as the odds have swung heavily in favor of The Spider over the last 12 hours.

The oddsmakers don't always get this thing right apparently.

The YouTube sensation Paul went from -180 to +105 currently.  Silva has gone from a +150 underdog to a -135 favorite.

"It was a bad opening number," Robert Cooper, Director of Trading at the website, said. "We know we're going to get action on Jake Paul from our public players, and we have, but this is the first Paul fight the pros have really come out and hammered his opponent. All of the smart money is on Silva at this point."

Currently, 61.1% of the bets are on Silva.

47-year-old Silva is the former UFC middleweight champ.  Paul is 5-0 with four knockouts in the boxing ring.

Paul has had his eyes set on fighting fellow YouTuber Olajide Olayinka Williams "JJ" Olatunji Jr, better known as KSI.

"It's way easier than one 6 round fight," Paul tweeted.

"KSI & Minions Boxing doing the fans dirty with this fake s***. Mislead after mislead."

The Silva-Paul bout is anticipated to take place on October 29 on Showtime Pay Per View.

Fight Odds

Jake Paul +105
