Is it a player…an owner…or perhaps a girlfriend? Who is the NFL’s most despised person?

Well, a semi-scientific Twitter study conducted by the BetOnline crack staff has answered that very question.

You may immediately think the person is someone hated by all of the NFL world, such as Roger Goodell or Dan Snyder, but it actually ended up being a player who made major headlines on and off the field this past season.

Yes, Aaron Rodgers is the most hated person who is associated with the NFL.  BetOnline has been offering odds on which team he will play on in Week 1 of the 2022 regular season.

This conclusion was derived after more than a million tweets were analyzed by keyword association. Negative phrases such as "I hate Aaron Rodgers," "Antonio Brown sucks," "F**ck Roger Goodell," "Cam Newton is horrible," etc. were included in the study that spanned the month of December.

January and February were not included so the findings wouldn't be swayed by the playoff participants.

Non-players such as Goodell, Jackson Mahomes, Snyder, Robert Kraft and Brittany Matthews finished in the Top 20.
