KENTUCKY DERBY EARLY CONTENDERS
Justify (3/1) - The early favorite, beware of the dreaded "Apollo Curse". Dating back to 1882, a two-year-old horse named Apollo went on to win that year's Kentucky Derby and, no, he didn't drop dead the next day 
.... Since Apollo's victory, no two-year-old has gone on to win the Derby. But this is looking like 5-time Derby winning trainer Bob Baffert’s best horse. So he could be the one with a payout of $30 on every $10 bet.
Mendelssohn (4/1) - There is a possibility that Mendelssohn will ultimately enter this year's Kentucky Derby as the favorite, with early odds a point behind Justify. He's a winner of his last three including an 18 lengths victory at the UAE Derby.
Audible (6.5/1) - Winner of the Florida Derby that sealed his ticket to the 2018 Kentucky Derby, Audible finished that 1 1/8 miles at Gulfstream Park in 1:49.48. He's also trained by the highly successful Todd Pletcher.
