These are the final two weeks ahead of bowl season. Some teams wish to rest their players ahead of conference championship and bowl games. Still others just don't give a damn.
Then you have Texas Tech, coming off three straight victories, playing the role of spoiler. The Red Raiders have already clinched a bowl game appearance. Just don't expect them to sit back and let Texas roll all over them.
"Starting off 1-3, nobody in America would have thought we would be bowl eligible," Tech safety C.J. Baskerville said. "For us to play the way that we have... and still be bowl eligible and now have a winning record in the Big 12 no matter how we finish, it's a big deal."
The Longhorns (10-1, 7-1) control their destiny for a spot in the Big 12 championship game and they are potential candidates for a Playoff berth as well.
The Longhorns' 10 wins in 11 games are their best start since 2009.
Texas Tech vs. Texas Player and Team Prop Bets
Behren Morton threw for two touchdowns as the Red Raiders (6-5, 5-3 Big 12) won against UCF last week. His passing yard total against Texas comes in at 221.5.
