Following a strong performance at the first round of the 2010 US Masters, Tiger Woods has gone from 4/1 to 2/1 odds (+200) at Sports Interaction.com.

The disgraced world's number one enjoyed a pair of personal Masters firsts, including a four-under 68, marking the first time in 16 trips to Augusta that he had broken 70 in the opening round.

This has prompted the online bookmakers to slash Woods odds in half.

"It was unbelievable all day, the people I haven't heard them cheer this loud in all my years here," said Woods. "It helped me keep my spirits up.

"Off to the first tee, and pretty much all day, it was just incredible."

Phil Mickelson was at 5/1 odds (+500).  Lee Westwood was at +800 odds.  The leader coming into Friday's round of the US Masters, Fred Couples, was at +1600 odds.
