The online bookmakers are looking for Strikeforce to bring in some added revenue based almost exclusively on a single draw, that being Fedor Emelianenko, and, despite a hefty price on Emelianenko to win against Fabricio Werdum, value could still be found.

If you are thinking about placing a bet on Fedor Emelianenko in Saturday evening's MMA bout against Fabricio Werdum, do so wisely.  There is value to be had beyond the steep price tag for Emelianenko to win outright.

Sportsbetting.com offered better pricing on the following bet options for Emelianenko vs. Werdum:

Fedor Emelianenko win by TKO:  Instead of laying around $50 to win $10 on an Emelianenko outright victory, one should consider the nominal risk involved in betting the Russian fighter to win by TKO.  The price tag is just $11.50 to win $10.  Remember that all bets are refunded should the results go in your favor.  This means that the $11.50 bet is returned along with the $10 profit assuming Emelianenko does walk away from this bout with a TKO.

A win by submission is a good bet.  He's had 16 of these out of 34 total fights in his career (nearly half the wins by Emelianenko were by submission).  Sportsbetting.com offered two choices though:  By arm or by choke.  Both pay around even odds.

Most other odds would pay out big including anything involving a Werdum win.
