Gamblers were loving the Indianapolis Colts to beat the Minnesota Vikings Sunday. In fact, 95 percent of gamblers wanted the Colts on the spread while the betting action on the money line was at a 90 percent clip. The bookies obviously needed Minnesota to cover here.

The opinion that the Vikings could cover a +2 spread was quite strong. Any line moves taking place were encouraging action on the Colts.

The odds ranged from a pick to -2 depending on where you were shopping for this line.

BetOnline.com came in at Indianapolis -1 ½.

At first glance, this line has "sucker bet" written all over it. The public was betting on the Colts in droves.

The interesting thing here is that Gambling911.com has this line at Indianapolis -2 so we really don't know what the odds makers thought process is here. It's a tough game to call despite what seems like an obvious opinion on Minnesota winning.

We would like to point out a disturbing trend with regard to Indianapolis however. This is a team that has lost 7 of its last 8 when we factor in pre-season games, last Sunday night's embarrassing loss to the Chicago Bears and last season's playoff game against San Diego. Granted, Minnesota hasn't fared much better, losing 6 of their last 7 games.

The OVER was 43 ½ in this game and people were betting it at an 80 percent clip.
