The Hassan II Golf Trophy is a golf tournament in Morocco hosted by His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid.  It is part of the European Tour and features a prize fund of $2.5 million.

Burmester earned his first European Tour title at the Tshwane Open just a few weeks ago in early March.

The South African fired out in 6-under 29 in the final round at Pretoria Country Club in his native land, reaching 18 under halfway through the final round.

He’s the fourth South African in the last five stagings of this event to come home with the title, making him a nice play to win this year’s Trophee Hassan II.
