(G911 Sports Wire) The Giants vs. Mariners series betting line for Thursday featured a line of San Francisco +137, Seattle -130 and a total of 7.  Seattle has won four of the last five in this series.  San Francisco is also 2-9 in the last 11 meetings in Seattle.  One needs to exercise some degree of caution going with Seattle however as they are just 2-8 in their last 10 home games.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Giants RH Ryan Vogelsong (4-5, 4.81 ERA) vs. Mariners LH Mike Montgomery (1-1, 1.89)

Vogelsong has lost three consecutive starts and lasted just 3 2/3 innings in his most recent one due to wildness issues.  He is 1-1 with a 3.46 ERA in two career starts against Seattle.

Montgomery has strung together three straight good outings since being recalled from Triple-A Tacoma.  Has given up just four runs and 15 hits in his first 19 major-league innings. – Dan Shapiro, Gambling911.com
