Gambling911.com has your free Baseball picks for September 2 after going 1-1 on Sunday.  Remember that these are early games due to the Labor Day holiday.

Boston -130 - Tigers RH Doug Fister (11-7, 3.81 ERA) vs. Red Sox RH John Lackey (8-11, 3.19)

Fister is 1-4 when starting against Boston with an ERA of 5.20 and a WHIP of 1.652.  Lackey, on the other hand, is 6-2 when starting against DETROIT with an ERA of 3.87 and a WHIP of 1.345.

Boston are 7-1 in their last 8 overall.  Up until yesterday the Red Sox had not allowed more than 3 runs in their previous 10 games overall.

Boston closer Koji Uehara is riding a streak of 21 straight scoreless appearances - tied for the second-longest stretch in franchise history.

Texas -103 - Rangers LH Derek Holland (9-6, 3.00 ERA) vs. Athletics RH Dan Straily (7-7, 4.41)

Holland has pitched well against Oakland in the past and is 5-1 when starting against the A's with an ERA of 2.54 and a WHIP of 1.177.

Straily allowed one run over six innings Wednesday to defeat Detroit and snap a five-game losing streak.  He has not gotten much in the way of any run support.  In fact, he only received five runs over those previous five losses.

Texas are 13-3 in their last 16 road games and are 7-1 in their last 8 games following a loss.
