Tigers/Orioles UNDER 7 – 6 of the last 10 in this series have resulted in 7 or fewer runs total.  Here we have a situation where two of the best pitchers go face to face and both have had success against the opposition in recent years.

The Tigers RH Max Scherzer (18-5, 3.15 ERA) allowed four runs in 14 innings the last time he faced Baltimore in 2013.  He is 2-1 with a 2.82 ERA in last year's post season.

The Orioles RH Chris Tillman (13-6, 3.34) went 20 straight starts allowing three or fewer earned run before his final regular season game in which he permitted four runs.

Tillman last faced the Tigers in Detroit on April 6 and held them to one run on five hits in 8 1/3 innings to pick up the win.
