The Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers will meet in a hard fight of a game that will prove to be a defensive battle. Both teams have upside and will definitely showcase a great deal of influence on the football, and will be interesting to watch.

The Bears had a bye week, and so you would expect them to be well rested against a Green Bay team that has been playing fairly well. However, they are not exactly going to be heading into something of an easy game as they have to deal with injuries. Jay Cutler’s out, and Josh McCown will need to be like a second Cutler if the game will turn out well for the bears. Lucky for him he has the Bears defense which is proving to be just as good as always and will most likely limit the score board from lighting up too much. The Packers have some upside, so let’s not discount them, including Eddie Lacy, who is having a good year. The Packers have improved their running game a lot, and have sewn up some holes in their defensive spots.
Matt Forte is going to be trying to hit a hard Packers defensive line that has been known to limit the running game to a small amount. If that once again is the issue, the Bears will have to try and go to the air, where the Packers can really start to work with defender mismatches. There will be plenty of fireworks to watch out for on special teams as well, creating a unique challenge for both teams to get a win on this one.
The Match Up
The Packers have a good passing game, and Aaron Rodgers is no slouch when it comes to carrying the ball either. Look for him to go to the air often and try to make the defense let up on the line, and get some scores down the field. You may not see a big running game from the Packers but that may play out to the Bears favor this time around. Even with all the variables playing out, you’ll find that there are some key upsides to picking the Bears here, but it’s unlikely. We’re going to go with the Packers on this one, the gap is too large to conquer. Packers – 10 sounds good and it will be a hard battle.
