Hold on to your hats, folks, it just might be!!!
Rocker Ted Nugent, as well known for his outspoken conservative views as he is for his hard-edged rock music, tells Gambling911.com in an exclusive interview that he is considering a run for political office.
"The Motor City Madman," who grew up in Detroit and now lives on a sprawling ranch in Texas, frequently has his conservative political opinions reported in the media.
But when Gambling911.com asked him during a recent conversation if he might ever run for political office himself, he replied: "I'm thinking about it!"
Nugent wouldn't elaborate, however, and declined to suggest any political office he might be interested in seeking in the future.
But as a larger-than-life figure in the music industry, Nugent probably won't be thinking small when it comes to seeking elected office--no being a councilman, a mayor or even a congressman.
Nothing less than senator or governor--with eyes on eventually being the President--would likely be up his alley.
And as far as his politics go--best described as right-wing, conservative and Republican--he's in the right place for political success, Texas.
Michigan, where he lived for years until relatively recently, is one of the most Democratic-leaning states in the union and a place where he'd likely not achieve elected political success, despite being a celebrity favorite son.

So what kind of politician might Ted Nugent be?
He's a wild-game hunter who personally shoots all the meat he eats, so there's a little bit of Sarah Palin, also a Republican, in him.
And he claims to have never drank alcohol or done any drugs, so there's also some of Mormon politician Mitt Romney, also a Republican, in him too.
But one of his best-known songs is titled "Wang Dang Sweet Poontang," so obviously a lot of Bill Clinton, a Democrat, is in there too.
So would Ted Nugent running for high political office be good for America?
Gambling911.com asked another celebrity politician who also leans to the right--Wayne A. Root--what he thinks about a possible Nugent candidacy.
Root, a sports handicapper and oddsmaker who lives in Las Vegas, was the Libertarian Party's vice-presidential candidate in 2008 and has just written a best selling book trashing liberalism called "The Ultimate Obama Survival Guide." Root is also an occasional contributor to the Gambling911.com website.
"I think it would be great if Ted Nugent runs for political office," Root said. "Fantastic for the conservative movement, the middle class, small business, the taxpayers and anyone who believes in common sense. It's also good for getting elected. We need to run more rock stars like Ted. Politics is like show business. Unfortunately, most voters don't vote based on issues, but rather they vote based on personality.
"The Republican Party has to start running candidates with bigger than life personalities, strong colorful views, loads of charisma, dynamic energy and bigger than life views too," Root continued. "That will win most elections. Ted Nugent is perfect. Ted will be a political rock star, just as he already proved he is a rock star in the music world.
"I think Ted would make a fantastic senator or governor. Ted is a brilliant businessman who has turned his brand name into a multi-million-dollar business. I'd vote for him 1,000 out of 1,000 times over Barack Obama or Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi--ignorant, incompetent idiots, thieves and liars all. None of whom has ever run a business or made a weekly payroll or ever created a job."
