A rank-and-file Republican wants the upcoming state party convention moved from the Green Valley Ranch over its owner's support of Senator Harry Reid

Do not hold the Republican state convention at the Green Valley Ranch Resort in Henderson, Nevada, says rank-and-file Republican James Smack.

Smack is calling for the convention to be moved because the CEO of Station Casinos, which owns the hotel, is a Republican for Reid.

"It sends a poor message when you see some of the more prominent business leaders and elected officials doing this," Smack told AOL News. "I won't stay at Green Valley Ranch. I don't intend to give Station Casinos or the people who run Station Casinos any more of my hard-earned dollars than I have to."

Smach has backed off a bit on moving the convention recently but he's still fuming.  He also sent out a letter to the Republican party chairperson suggesting that any Republicans who support Reid should be "isolated and eventually eliminated from their respective offices."
