Customers of Full Tilt Poker living in the United Kingdom have begun to express apprehension in light of all that is taking place in the US post April 15 (otherwise known as “Black Friday”.

Full Tilt Poker was among three online poker companies indicted in the US on money laundering and bank fraud charges.  Full Tilt has yet to pay back its customers living in the States.  To date, only PokerStars has been able to pay US customers in full.  This has led to concerns over whether FTP has enough liquidity.

Full Tilt Poker pro Phil Ivey threatening to sue the company last week has only helped to fuel these fears.

One customer living in the UK had this to say on the TwoPlusTwo.com forums:

I thought it was still "safe" upto Phil Ivey's statement. Safe, in that it was just the typical FTP procedure of taking forever to do a simple task.

Now I'm wondering if the USA money is even in the FTP accounts or if they were playing the stock market with it.

You have to question why Stars has paid and FTP have not.

Time to withdraw while you can, which unfortunately for the USA players it will mean even less chance of them receiving their funds.

Another forum member speculated:

I think the important things for international players to take from the recent news are:

1. Phil Ivey doesn't think FT is willing/capable of paying out American players anytime soon.

2. Player funds may have been spent on marketing + various other horrors Nick Rainey described

you'd have to be insane to keep playing there

To date, Full Tilt Poker seems to be paying customers living outside the US.
