The Groupe Bernard Tapie funded International Stadiums Poker Tour has brought on yet another powerful spokesperson in the form of David Benyamine.
The event, slated to begin next May, is forecast to bring in some 30,000 players from around the globe who will play from the stands online. The field will then dwindle down to a specified number who will play live. To date, only 3337 players have registered, a mere fraction of the 30,000 goal.
Big name players like Benyamine, who himself has amassed over $6 million in live tournaments thus far, are sure to help boost those numbers. The ISPT has yet to embark on a mass marketing campaign as of yet, with ad banners only limited to the TwoPlusTwo.com posting forum while seemingly ignoring SEO-driven poker news and portal sites.
Benyamine joins other pros the likes of Patrik Antonius, Michael Mizrachi, Liz Lieu and Sam Trickett.
