It’s been only a few days since American pro Nick Petrangelo was on the final table of the first High Roller at the EPT Malta Poker Festival - the special added €25k, finishing fourth for €205,900.

And it’s also only a matter of a few months since he made the final of the PCA $25k High Roller, for a lifetime best cash of $301,500 (and also taking down the $5k NL Turbo in the Bahamas for an extra $113,853). Now the 28-year-old from Rhode Island is back again for the final day of the €10k version in Malta and leading the final 18 in the race for a €597,000 first prize.

Petrangelo has 1,660,000, ahead of French 2013 WSOP November Niner Sylvain Loosli who's on 1,472,000. British online pro Charles Carrel, whose friend Ben Heath won the €1k NL Single Re-Entry the other night, is currently third with 1,148,000.

Another November Niner, Marc Etienne McLaughlin, is also in contention for the €587,00 first prize, as is Argentine online pro Ivan Luca, who is on a massive tear since he started competing internationally in live events back in December at EPT Prague. Others coming back for the final day include PCA runner-up/EPT Dortmund champ Mike McDonald, EPT Berlin winner Davidi Kitai, EPT London finalist Ludovic Geilich and EPT Grand Final winner Steve O’Dwyer.

There were 304 entries, creating a prize pool of €2,979,200 with 39 paid.

The €10k is the official EPT High Roller, meaning that - in addition to their trophy and cash prize - the champion will receive a luxury watch from Swiss brand SLYDE, the Official EPT Season 11 sponsor for Main Events and High Rollers.

Season 11 EPT €10k High Rollers so far:Barcelona: 393 entries, €3,851,400 prize pool, Ihar Soika (Belarus) for €747,200
London: 173 entries, £1,695,400 prize pool, Andrew Chen (Canada) for £394,200
Prague: 309 entries, €3,028,200 prize pool, Andrey Zaichenko (Russia) for €487,190
Deauville: 128 entries, €1,228,800 prize pool, Josip Simunic (Austria) for €309,170
